HAVE PURPOSE

“There are many Christians that admit that they do not believe that they are experiencing all that God has for them in this life.  ‘There’s got to be more to the Christian life than this!’ Come and be a part of giving yourself in service to others in a foreign country – and find that the Bible is overflowing with stated purpose for our lives.” Steve Youngren, Founder of Compassion Connection

Training planned to challenge North American Christians in their

  • dependent relationship on Christ
  • ability to understand other cultures
  • ability to work together
  • practice of servitude

BE CHALLENGED

With an introduction to foreign missions that challenges the North American mindset, you will experience first hand team building and communication strengthening excercises that cause a DEPENDENCY ON CHRIST like few have experienced before.

“This is the best thing that has happened to our youth group!  In two weeks you have equipped us to have a deeper walk with God, help mold a servant heart and ignite compassion for God and his people.  We are ready to apply all the scriptural truths and teaching back at home - in our mission field.”  Kathy Herbert, The Harvest Church – Dallas, TX

  • Initial training at our base outside of Quito
  • Remainder of the trip spent in the Ecuadorian jungle

This adventure affords people from different cultures an opportunity to discover the life changing principles of depending on God in the midst of trial.

OVERCOME OBSTACLES

“To the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law.  To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.  I do all things for the sake of the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it.” The Apostle Paul – I Cor 9:20-23

“Thank you for carrying the torch and lighting the way of truly following Christ. You have given us teachings and reminders to seek first and ONLY Christ.  What a treasure in a time and culture of ‘pretty cisterns’ full of impure waters.  Thank you for purposing to train and disciple and grow our Father’s kingdom!” Shelly – Boot Camp 2007

BE CHANGED

These short term experiences are organized to bring both North American and South American people together and to a place where their faith is personalized and celebrated. Through a variety of activities and outreaches, each participant is challenged to face their faith in God and depend on Him to take care of them daily.

  • learn how to identify our limited view of the vast and diverse peoples that God has created
  • discover how to broaden your world view
  • work side by side with the beautiful people of Ecuador
  • help where there is little help to be found

“This trip has taught me that God is the only thing I really need…and that mud doesn’t come out of any type of clothing.” Derek – Boot Camp 2003
