National Bible School

Training National Leaders and Church Planters
stevegraduatesremote areas

Our Bible Institute  provides an opportunity for Nationals to study and become trained in the Word of God and practical ministry.

Each student attends the monthly day-long seminar and leaves with audio materials and study guides to complete at home.  This enables those who are already pastors and leaders to continue their education without leaving their responsibilities of work, family and church.

The students reflect both Spanish and indigenous Quichua peoples who speak Spanish as a second language.  The courses combine academics with culturally appropriate material to enhance the abilities of those who are learning to reach their own people and manifest the love of Christ and the gospel message to Ecuadorians.

The program is designed around a three-year curriculum focusing on biblical, theological and practical ministry courses.  In addition, each local center works closely with the pastors to tailor the practical ministry toward the specific vision that each area pastor has for his church and people.

In July 2006, the Napo river region graduated their first class.  This region now has set up their own local office and is on their way to being run completely by Ecuadorians.  The Conocoto area has also now graduated third year students and are setting up their own logistical office in Alangasi.

There are more than four other regions asking us to bring IBCI to train their pastors and leaders.  We are unable to answer these calls as we would like to because of lack of man power and lack of funds.
