Church Planting
Ecuador
Fall 2006
Compassion Connection began to work with local church leadership in Tena to strategize on how to reach the surrounding communities of the greater Napo region. Since that time, a number of works in various stages are reaching their communities and are pastored by our bible school students.
September 2008
Compassion Connection began an alliance with Acts 29 International in order to better serve the regions of the Napo as well as other regions of Ecuador.
Fall 2009
Compassion Connection and Acts 29 International hosted the first “Boot Camp” for Ecuadorian church planters. These pastors will receive training and helps to plant new works throughout Ecuador. A training program will then begin in which every quarter church planters will receive an intensive weekend of instruction and then be sent back out to put what they’ve learned into practice in the communities in which they are planting churches.

At the end of two-year training
The planter will not only have gained invaluable knowledge, but will have established his first church plant which will in turn plant other churches.
How can you be involved?
PRAYER. Each planter will be required to enlist his own prayer force and we will be looking for those who will pray alongside of each planter in order to see the areas opened for the gospel.
STAY UPDATED – if you would like to receive updated information about the church planter/church plant please sign up below to receive our newsletter.
