Hi sandi i was just wondering if you guys had a piano or guitar at the place we are staying? And if not would i be able to bring a guitar?
April 16th, 2008 at 1:30 pm
Hey Mikail, Morgan, and Michelle! I was wondering how ya’ll are doing? Where all ya’ll at in the whole preperation stuff. How are ya’ll doing with raising support and all that fun stuff?
=) I apoligize for all the “ya’lls” it’s because I’m from Texas. I am not that proud of it so ya … but don’t worry I’m not a hick or anything like that.
If you guys could be praying me for the funds and stuff that would be AWESOME! And what do ya’ll need prayer for specifically?
I can’t wait to meet You GUYS!!!

I’m 18 as well, Sandi told me that both you and Mikail were graduating as well. Are you as excited as I am?! Man I cannot wait!
When do you graduate because I know that most schools end in June?
So how did you hear about PW? Have you been to Ecuador before?
Hey have you sent Sandi your picture yet?
It was good to make contact with you Morgan.
April 21st, 2008 at 7:19 pm
Hey Morgan! I’ve been running around like crazy, so haven’t checked this for a while. We don’t have a piano in Ecuador, and we would LOVE you to bring your guitar! You’ll have to check with your airline about whether or not you can carry it on or will have to check it as luggage.
April 22nd, 2008 at 7:49 pm
Thank you Sandi! Ya I will check with my airline. I’m not very good at guitar but I thought it’d be a good time to practice some worship songs and stuff!
Infeild5,
I’m guessing that you are Michelle right? It’s nice to get in contact with you too! ha it’s making the trip more real and seem closer! I am pretty excited, a little sad to leave my friends and family, but I know it’s going to be awesome! And I can’t wait to meet everyone! I graduate on June 10 and my plane leaves on the 15. What about you??
I haven’t sent my picture yet but I’m going to right now!
April 23rd, 2008 at 11:58 am
Sorry Morgan infield 5 is me Jake, idk why it changed but o well.
Yeah i feel you on the sadness of leaving your friends, since at least for me I will probably never see alot of them for at least a couple of years.
I leave the 1st of June so its about 5 weeks away!!!!
April 23rd, 2008 at 4:11 pm
Oh my gosh I’m so sorry jake! haha. Sweet! When is your graduation then?
Aw man, why won’t you see them for a couple years?
To answer your auestions from earlier, I have been to Ecuador before! I went last summer with my youth group for two weeks and I LOVED it!! I heard about botters wheel from Steve and Sandi’s friends, the Knutson’s. Also from 4 people from my youth group who have gone through the program already! It changed their life’s and my mom thought it was a great idea and so did I sooo yaa. That’s my story
.
How did you decide you wanted to go?
I got my wisdom teeth pulled today so I’m a little out of it. I don’t really know if I’m making sence. If you could pray for my pain that would be awesome!
Sorry if I asked too many question haha.

April 23rd, 2008 at 6:23 pm
NO don’t apologize I love answering and asking questions!
You’re going to hate me for this but I graduate the 16th… of MAY!!! O yah 23 days!
The reason why I won’t see alot of my friends is because most of them are going away to college and… yeah it’s complicated because I go to a small school and so every1 in my class is my friend, and most of them I won’t keep in touch with.
Wow so you’ve been to Ecuador before, That’s awesome! Where did you go, and what did you do there.
Dang so have you ever met Steve and Sandi, or Phil and Heather?
I’m sorry about your wisdom teeth that must really be painful. But hey on the bright side you get to eat alot of ice cream! But yeah I’ll be praying for ya.
O and I decided I wanted to go there… Idk the Lord just put the disire in my heart to go soon after I went with CC over the past summer. Then over some situations He revealed to me that this is what He wants me to do what I need to do! MAN I’M SO EXCITED to go and serve and learn!!! and all that STUFF! WOOOHOOO

Wow wow wow my last comment has so many spelling errors im embarrassed! haha This medicine for my mouth has made me a little wierd. ha
So Jake, I’m guessing you play baseball?? Just an assumption because of your username. What other sports and stuff do you play?
Dude your so lucky! MAY 16th?! My prom won’t have even happened then. haha I go to a small school as well, how cool is that? There are 25 kids in my class. I love it! I’m not SUPER close with all of them becuase it’s my first year there. But it has been a great experience this year.
Yes i met Steve and Sandi 1 time at lunch after church haha. They used to live in the desert as well so they know a lot of people i go to church with. What did you do with compassion connection last summer?
Thank you for your prayers, ha ya the ice cream has been great
I will continue to pray for you and everyone else as well. I’m getting more and more excited the closer it gets!
NICE PICTURES JAKE AND MIKAIL!
Hope your havin a good day

WOW I just had my prom last weekend!
Actually I used to play baseball… big time. but then I stopped because I lost the passion for it, and then I played football for my school, *cough six man footballcough*. And then I LOVE playing volleyball!
What about you do you play any sports.. or activities lol?
Dang you have an even smaller sr. class than me! I didn’t know thatwas even possible, I have 34 students. Do you go to a private school?
Last summer I went down with my church to Compassion Connection on a short term mission trip. We went to Tena and helped build a church. And alot of other cool stuff.
Have you been on any other mission trips?
Jake
April 24th, 2008 at 11:51 am
Aw cool! Was prom fun? Haha that’s so weird that my senior class is smaller, and our football is 8 man! Yes I go to a private school, it’s called Desert Christian High School. What about you?
Well I used to play volleyball in Jr. High and freshman year. Then I got into music stuff such as choir at school, and worship band at church. And this year since I’m at a Christian school I got to be involved with the worship team there as well. So not so much time for sports ha. Except unless it’s snowboarding season!! Then I make the time
That’s really cool about your trip last summer! Was it your first missions trip? Yes I have been on a couple. I went to Mexico in elementary school, and then to Budapest, Hungary for 2 summers in a row. 2005 and 2006 (2 weeks each). And then to Ecuador last summer (2 weeks)
.

April 24th, 2008 at 12:52 pm
DANG Budapest and Hungry! That sounds intense. lol man you’ve been on alot of mission trips. I’ve only been on two foriegn mission trips Ecuador and Mexico so ya.
Which one of the places was your favorite? why?
Prom was AWESOME! as much as I love stickin with my shorts and no shoes it was… okay getting dressed up. but hey prom is not about the guy it’s about the girl and making her feel special so, in that sense I had a good time because she did. lol man that’s totally how life works, I LIKE IT!
I bet you’re pretty excited about your prom?!
April 24th, 2008 at 5:43 pm
Well, Budapest is the capital of Hungary haha. So its the same place
. My trips to Budapest were so different from my trip to Ecuador last year. I Europe we focused more on street ministry and stuff like that, where in Ecuador we did a lot of hard work projects. So both places were amazing and I leared so much and have felt called to missions ever since!!
What about you what was your favorite trip? Did you meet Steve and Sandi last year on your trip?
Mmmm prom.. To be honest, dancing is not my favorite thing. And spending so much money on a dress that I’ll wear once isn’t my favorite thing either haha. But I guess I’m lookin a little forward to it. It’s a good time hangin out and bein fancy and feeling special hehe.
Hey do you have a myspace? Everytime I leave a comment on here I have to re-sign up heh. It’s not that big a deal, but I was just wonderin!
-Morgan
April 26th, 2008 at 6:13 am
lol I’m not going to lie I totally thought Budapest was in India. DANG lol
Ecuador was by FAR my favorite mission trip. I liked it because it was much more hands on, I got to reach out to people and connect with them. and last year the Lord really moved through me there and used me, so that was AWESOME. O and I did meet Steve and Sandi, they’re the organization that my church went with so yupp.
=D Morgan I think we’re going to be good friends, when you said that you really aren’t too thrilled about spending so much money on a dress you’ll only wear once, I was like yupp we’ll get along. But hey at least you can keep your dress, me I had to take back my tux, PSSH lol o well.
WHat do you mean you don’t like dancing? are you crazy? I’m not going to brag but I’ve got some pretty shweet dance moves, they put john trevolta and the guys from step up to shame. O yes I’m THAT GOOD! haha jk my dancing skills pretty much include just flailing my arms and moving my body in random movements, but I like dancing it’s fun even thouhg I really stink.
Actually I do have a myspace but I forgot my password and I don’t have the same email adress anymore so I can’t get in lol. Sorry it’s pretty lame
April 26th, 2008 at 4:49 pm
Hey Guys,
Michelle is having trouble getting on here. I’m not too great at all this either, so can you help me give suggestions as to what may be going wrong for her?
April 28th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
Hahaha nope Budapest is in Europe! How weird though, my school went to India for their missions trip over spring break! I totally almost went, but at the last couple weeks I felt like I was supposed to sit that one out so I could save the money for PW. haha
Soooo ya, girls definitely get the better half of prom…getting to keep the expensive clothes and all
haha. Uhmmm I guess dancing is ok.. I just feel embarrassed at first and then once I start actually dancing I have fun. I would probably pick any other activity before I picked dancing though haha. But we’ll def. have to see those travolta moves of yours over in Ecuador!
Sandi,
Same with Mikail!
I don’t really know how to help Michelle but i REALLLY want to talk to her and stuff. So if this blog thingy doesn’t work out, you can give her my e-mail! Or send me hers
Hope everyone is doing great

Hey Jake and Morgan,
I remember all the fun stuff that I did when I graduated, like senior breakfast and prom and the picture of 03 and we were the 03, they taped off the 03 and we had to stand inside and they took a picture. Although it was sad to leave my favorite teachers behind.
I’m glade school is going well. Good luck on graduation day.
