Bridge Jumping

Part of the Compassion Connection team, myself included, took a trip to Baños, Ecuador to, well, take a step of faith!
It’s not part of any of Compassion Connection’s programs, but we had enough people who wanted to jump, so we made the trip. Even some who weren’t planning on jumping at all were swayed by peer pressure to put their faith on the platform. It kind of makes me think how we should have more faith in God. I couldn’t see the rope when I was plunging towards the rocky bank of the river, but how many times have I seen the power of god move in my life. He is certainly our shepherd and refuge, and is so much more able than any 2 rock-climbing ropes that wear out after time.
All-in-all, I give it an 11!

At first I was like, “I can’t believe Greg did this!” But who am I kidding? Of course Greg did this! haha. I was scared just watching it though!
Siji, I’m disappointed that you shaved, and where’s Rachel? There was no blog update about her homestay, and she’s not in this video either. I miss my roomie!

All you crazy jumper! AWESOME!!! Wow…as much as i say I would like to jump and do something like that im not really sure if I could…i think I would have to do it with a friend like Caylin did..but I sure want to try!! Hats off to you all! Nathan you finally made it back to Ecuador! I hope you are having a great time! God bless all of my wonderful brothers & sister in Christ, keep them safe as they do wild & amazing thing not only for fun but for Your name Jesus! Love you all & you are in my prayers!!

THAT WAS SO AWESOME nay that doesn’t cover it SICK… no EPIC! the editing and video footage was put together so well and jumping with the camera! Thanks for that Nathan! Glad to see you in Ecuador again kinda… even though I’m not there. But Greg your my hero when I grow up I want to be just like you. Siji your second jump looked so funny! And “Hey!” to every one else! Wish I could be there.
